Join us for our second webinar of 2026, entitled ‘Addressing complex and evolving challenges in public health — a new framework for innovation’

This free to join session will offer Scotland’s healthcare innovators ‘lunch and learn’ insights from Public Health Scotland (PHS) with a focus on its comprehensive approach to encouraging public health innovation while underlining the importance of delivery.

That will be framed in the context of a new PHS Strategy and broader Scottish Government Population Health Framework which aims to improve Scotland’s health and reduce health inequalities over the next decade, creating a country where everyone thrives.

On Wednesday 25 February, InnoScot Health’s Head of Innovation will kickstart the session before outlining a national project called the Warwick-Edinburgh Mental Wellbeing Scale (WEMWBS) which involved InnoScot Health support and advice.

He will then introduce Nicola McCallum, Organisational Lead — Innovation, of PHS, who will detail the national public health body’s ‘Framework for public health innovation’, all followed by a Q&A segment.
