This free to join session offered Scotland’s healthcare innovators ‘lunch and learn’ insights on how innovation and the broader healthcare landscape continues to change, and with it, the underpinning structures, systems, and services.
InnoScot Health is entering a new phase which aligns with that shift and which it sees as an opportunity to expand its reach while supporting a more collaborative approach to health and social care innovation.
The organisation will be leveraging its deep expertise to form stronger multi-disciplinary connections across NHS, industry, and academia — of a kind that positively impacts patient outcomes, heightens efficiency, and enhances Scotland’s wider growth ambitions.
InnoScot Health is discussed its transition towards encompassing that enlarged focus with the aim of increasingly helping to get great ideas to market.
The webinar focussed on:
- Learning about how, for over 23 years, InnoScot Health has been a catalyst for change which remains committed to working with health and social care innovators across Scotland
- Understanding how it aims to continue to sit at the heart of the innovation ecosystem, encouraging more accessible and equitable health and social care
- Discussing the opportunities which this could present for your own organisation’s ambitions

Our webinar was introduced and led by InnoScot Health’s Executive Chair Graham Watson, Head of Innovation Robert Rea, and Head of Innovation Commercialisation Gillian Henderson answered questions in the back half of the session.
It offered details on the aims, and reasons behind, our new innovation call, and laid out the support available to health and social care staff submitting their ideas.
The accessible, bitesize sessions are hosted on Microsoft Teams, regularly providing a platform for inspiring guest speakers whilst allowing InnoScot Health staff to share their deep knowledge and insights on innovation.
