When Innovation Takes Flight: How Scottish drones consortium is transforming healthcare
Join us for our last educational webinar of 2025, entitled ‘When innovation takes flight - how Scottish drones consortium is transforming healthcare’
This free to join session will offer Scotland’s healthcare workforce ‘lunch and learn’ insights on a true ‘Once for Scotland’ initiative which is pioneering the use of drones to deliver vital medical supplies.
InnoScot Health believes it is a key opportunity for the workforce to learn more about this vital initiative which has continued to develop successfully through rigorous trials, heralding what has been termed ‘the next era of aviation’.
The NHS Scotland partner believes that its free session on Project CAELUS (Care & Equity — Healthcare Logistics UAS Scotland) will be a fascinating look at the UK's first drone enabled medical logistics network.
The educational webinar on Wednesday 26 November will be a great opportunity to:
- Learn from NHS innovators who are embedded in a project of national significance
- Understand how a large-scale project with many stakeholders can be successfully coordinated
- Discuss how Project CAELUS is expected to develop in future
It will be introduced and led by InnoScot Health’s Innovation Commercialisation Manager Frances Ramsay, who will be joined by guest speakers National NHS Innovation Programme Lead for NHS Grampian, Karen Bell, Professor Paul Gowens, Associate Director for Research, Development, and Innovation, and Dr Adam Lloyd, National Research and Innovation Manager, both of the Scottish Ambulance Service.
