There will be opportunity for attendees attend lab tours to view equipment which can be accessed through the MDMC, including state-of-the-art equipment in large analytical facilities and individual items in research laboratories.


Headquartered at Heriot-Watt University, the MDMC is a consortium of 5 universities funded by Scottish Enterprise. The Centre offers medical device development and manufacture in Scotland, providing companies with an enabling step towards first-in-patient-studies.
