The 12th Annual Edinburgh Critical Care Research Group (ECCRG) study day, which will explore key topics encountered in clinical practice by reviewing current critical care practice and research

This will be an educational and interactive day for AHPs and nurses directly involved in providing care for critically ill patients, taking place Friday 24 May 2024 at the John McIntyre Centre, Pollock Halls, Edinburgh.

InnoScot Health representatives will be in attendance at the event.

Topics explored on the day will include prehabilitation; ECMO nursing; critical care for transgender patients; early laryngeal rehab; setting up an ICU garden; chest auscultation techniques; greener intensive care; using lung ultrasound; MDT critical care recovery service; virtual reality for critical care patients; the role of an army reserve nurse; and animal assisted intervention.
