We Develop

Developing your ideas effectively

An innovative idea is just the start. Translating ideas into viable products and services requires a significant investment of time, resource and expertise - from securing funding, appointing third party suppliers, and mobilising resources.

Effective project management underpins the innovation process. InnoScot Health guides health and social care staff through the entire process, alleviating the pressure of balancing clinical and personal commitments. A strong product pipeline, and successful record of commercialisation reflects 20 years of experience in working on NHS-led innovation.

Our role

Our project management team acts as the key liaison point ensuring effective communication, regular updates, and adherence to key milestones; in addition to important processes such as prototyping, validating data and providing evidence the idea will create value.

As the only organisation set up to work in partnership with the NHS on commercialisation activity, innovators know their idea is in safe hands with InnoScot Health. Our partnership model is well-established and NHS inventors value our ongoing bespoke support.

Paula Sweeten 1

We adopt a bespoke approach. Depending on the project, we source the most appropriate organisations and suppliers – from product developers, app and software developers; to design houses, manufacturers, and packaging companies.
